Bio

In my mid twenties, I moved to Chicago and discovered a passion for all things related to food, wine and culture.   In 1998, I decided to pursue formal culinary training and graduated in 1999 from The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, a Le Cordon Bleu affiliate.  Shortly after graduating, I created Chicagocooks.com, a website that promoted food and wine events, cooking classes, food organizations as well as my culinary business activities. 

I have been fortunate to meet many fabulous people doing inovative things from farmers to chefs to foodies that I wanted to give you all a place to connect.  Please feel free to send me a message using the link below. I welcome all comments or suggestions for how to make Chicagocooks.com a better  place to connect.  I read every comment personally. 

The Menus, recipes, and articles from the previous Chicagocooks.com are still available.  Have fun, cook more and eat well!

What I'm working on now: Promoting Chicagocooks.com, working on helping to launch Green City Market, creating a retail dessert product and getting the best physical shape ever (try that while testing desserts).  Does wine count as a fruit serving?  That is the current debate among my friends.
