Midwest Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables

There are still plenty of local foods available at Green City Markets' winter location under the big tent at the Peggy Notebeart Museum.   Stop by and check out greens such as spinach, arugula and kale, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, a huge variety of apples, potatoes and squash!

Quick Tip: Things that grow together also taste good together! Examples are a strawberry rhubarb tart or asparagus and mushroom risotto!  Also try my friend Kelly's spring dinner starter of thinly sliced fresh radishes served on top of a crositini (small piece of toasted bread) smeared with butter.  Drizzle with truffle oil and season with salt and pepper.
